  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter xylitol-free
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon optional

  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Add the egg to the mixture and stir well until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the whole wheat flour and cinnamon (if using) to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms. You may need to use your hands to combine everything thoroughly.

  6. Use a dog bone cookie cutter or any shape you prefer to cut out cookies, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  8. Remove the treats from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack before serving them to your pup.

Notes

Storage & Reheating:
Store these treats in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to a week. For longer storage, you can freeze the cookies for up to 3 months. Remember, these are occasional treats and should be given in moderation. Always consult with your veterinarian if your dog has any health concerns or dietary restrictions.
