Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter no xylitol
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup honey optional
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots for extra flavor and nutrition

  • 1 Spoon or spatula
  • 1 Parchment paper
  • 1 Cookie sheet

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the *natural peanut butter*, *unsweetened applesauce*, *plain yogurt*, and *honey* if using. Mix until all ingredients are well blended.
  2. Gradually add the *rolled oats* to the mixture, stirring continuously until everything is fully incorporated.
  3. Fold in the *shredded carrots* to add a touch of flavor and nutrition.
  4. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy removal.
  5. Using a spoon, scoop out small portions of the mixture and form them into small balls or patties about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  6. Once all the mixture is shaped, place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the treats firm up.
  7. After chilling, remove the treats from the refrigerator and enjoy giving them to your furry friend!

Notes

Storage & Reheating:
These no-bake treats can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. For longer storage, you can freeze them for up to 3 months. Always remember that these are occasional treats, not a complete diet, and introduce new snacks gradually. Consult your veterinarian if your dog has health conditions, allergies, or is on a special diet.
