Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and rolled oats, and mix well.
- In another bowl, mix together the mashed banana, peanut butter, egg, and olive oil until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- If the dough is too dry, add water a tablespoon at a time until it's workable.
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Use your cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- For a fun twist, you can twist two shapes together before baking for a unique look!
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow the treats to cool completely on a wire rack.
