Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, crumbled bacon, egg, and olive oil. Mix until well blended.
- Gradually add the whole wheat flour and rolled oats to the peanut butter mixture. Stir until combined.
- Add water (or chicken broth) a little at a time until the dough comes together. It should be firm but not sticky.
- Sprinkle some flour on a clean surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes from the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before serving to your dog.
