Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and egg until well mixed.
- Gradually add the whole wheat flour and rolled oats to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- If the dough is too dry, add water a little at a time until it reaches a workable consistency.
- Dust your work surface with a bit of flour, and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your dog.
