Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter ensure it contains no xylitol
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and rolled oats, mixing well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, yogurt, water, and egg until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
  5. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Use dog-shaped cookie cutters to cut out treats and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the treats are golden and firm.
  8. Allow the treats to cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your dog.

Notes

Storage & Reheating:
Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For longer storage, you can refrigerate them for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
