Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 medium ripe banana mashed
  • 1 ½ cups oat flour
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the unsweetened applesauce and mashed banana until well blended.
  3. Add the egg and olive oil to the mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the oat flour and cinnamon to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough to about ¼ inch thickness.
  6. Use cookie cutters to shape the treats and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the treats cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Storage & Reheating:
Store these treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For longer storage, you can keep them in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze them for up to three months.
