Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup plain yogurt unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree plain, unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter natural, unsweetened, and no xylitol
  • 1/2 ripe banana mashed
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional, check with your vet if your dog has a sensitivity to sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Silicone ice cube trays or molds
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Whisk or spatula

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt, pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and mashed banana.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly using a whisk or spatula until smooth and well integrated.
  3. If desired, stir in the honey for added sweetness, ensuring it is well mixed.
  4. Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until you achieve a pourable consistency.
  5. Pour the mixture into silicone ice cube trays or molds, filling each cavity evenly.
  6. Place the trays in the freezer and allow the treats to freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  7. Once frozen, carefully remove the treats from the molds and store them in a freezer-safe bag or container.

Notes

Storage & Reheating:
Store the frozen treats in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag in the freezer for up to 3 months. Remember, these are occasional treats and should be fed in moderation. Always introduce new treats gradually and consult your veterinarian if your dog has allergies or special dietary needs.
Variations:
- Add 1/4 cup of mashed sweet potato for extra flavor and nutrition.
- Substitute the banana with 1/2 cup of pureed blueberries for a berry twist.
- Mix in small pieces of dog-safe fruits like apples or strawberries for added texture.
