Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium, no onion or garlic
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup plain peanut butter no xylitol
  • 1 large egg

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken broth, peanut butter, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the whole wheat flour and rolled oats to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. Once the dough is formed, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Use cookie cutters to cut the dough into fun shapes and place the biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and crunchy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool completely before serving to your pup.

Notes

Storage & Reheating:
Store the biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, you can freeze them for up to 3 months. Remember, these are occasional treats, not a complete diet. Always introduce new snacks gradually and consult your veterinarian if your dog has health conditions or allergies.

- Substitute chicken broth with low-sodium beef or vegetable broth for a different flavor.
- Add 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree for a seasonal twist and extra nutrients.
