Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the oat flour and cinnamon (if using).
- Add the grated carrot, applesauce, egg, water, and olive oil to the dry ingredients, and mix until a dough forms.
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use the dog bone cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the bones are golden brown and crunchy.
- Remove the treats from the oven and allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.
