Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, shredded carrots, and optional cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the applesauce, water, egg, and olive oil until well blended.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Flour a clean surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Use a dog bone cookie cutter to cut out bone shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bones are firm and golden.
- Remove from the oven and allow the treats to cool completely on a wire rack.
