Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, shredded cheese, and applesauce. Mix well until all the ingredients are incorporated.
- Add the egg and olive oil to the mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Gradually add the whole wheat flour and oat flour, stirring to form a dough. If desired, mix in the dried parsley for added flavor.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the treats are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving to your pup.
